If one of your curl complaints is getting too much crunch, apply this cream to your wet curls before applying your gel.

This one sits beautifully in the moisture + conditioning + light protein support category. It’s a balanced leave-in cream that softens and smooths first, with just a gentle touch of hydrolysed soy protein working for you in the background to provide a little reinforcement to the weaker parts of your hair strands.

You’ll get hydration and manageability without tipping into anything heavy or overly “protein-y.” It’s a lovely option for mildly damaged hair and most curl types in general.

Polyquaternium-10 is one of it's ingredients. It is a conditioning, film-forming polymer that improves slip and can give hair a slightly strengthened feel. It isn’t a protein, but it can create a subtle fortified sensation on the surface of the strand.

DONNA'S NOTES:
Finger rake or brush style through wet or damp hair, working through the hair right down to the ends for strong definition. Follow up with POW Gel or another strong hold gel or topper styling product to capture the curl formations. Scrunch upwards for extra curl shaping, and set and forget, or proceed to diffuser dry.
