I do not stock every brand on the market. I stock the ones that perform, that stand behind their formulations, and that align with specialist curl education and hands-on experience working with textured hair in New Zealand.

Clever Curl is manufactured by The Ethical Brand Company, the same Australian company behind EverEscents Organic Hair Care.
It was the first curl-specific brand I introduced as a wholesaleable range into New Zealand salons as part of building the curl specialist niche locally. At the time, curl-focused professional product options were limited here, and this marked an important step in establishing NZ's curl specialist niche.

Founded by the inspirational Lorraine Massey, author of Curly Girl: The Handbook and founder of the Curly Girl Method.
Lorraine was my first educator in curl cutting, and her fibre-first philosophy continues to influence how I approach textured hair. Through the Curly Girl Method, she played a significant role in popularising silicone-free and sulphate-free curl care at a time when textured hair was largely underserved.
CurlyWorld formulations reflect that same thinking — supporting natural curl formation without heavy coating ingredients, and encouraging movement, flexibility, and fibre integrity.
