Honey and beeswax are used as humectants and natural resins which offer benefit to the hair and offer performance in the majority of their line. While they do NOT formulate with animal byproducts or proteins, technically their line is not vegan because they use honey and beeswax. Please be assured they are as bee-friendly as possible! They go to great lengths to ensure their source partners act responsibly, and maintain a commitment to sustainability. Additionally, of their items that we stock that are Vegan-Friendly, we have their Pure Inspiration Daily Conditioner, Hydrating Cream Conditioner and Hydrating Hair Masque, which are all honey-free and beeswax free.

While not certified as being so, this is what Adria the owner says, of the products made by her in her kitchen; "All products other than Peppermint Schnapps are unquestionably vegan. Peppermint Schnapps contains honey, which some consider to not be vegan-approved since honey is obtained from the work of bees".
While not certified as being so, according to AJ, who is a one-man-band, operating very much as a small-batch production (we are lucky to have got what we have whenever we stock it!) it is vegan.
Of the items of theirs that we stock, their Curl Cream, Curl Defining Gel and Super Hold Styler are 100% vegan. The Curl Conditioner, Intensive Moisture Treatment and Curl Cleanser contain honey, and they are aren't currently looking to change this, simply because of the great benefits using honey offers. Curly hair thrives on moisture and honey is a great humectant which attracts moisture in the air and helps to hold it in combating any dryness leaving curls looking beautifully moisturised.
