'The Curl Cleanser' is a no-lather cleanser, with a unique blend of ingredients that will cleanse your hair without detergents.

Infused with mint oil, aloe, & vitamin E. It can be used daily and on color treated hair. The fragrance is essential ginger oil mixed with citrus and tea scents. It is sulfate, silicone, & paraben free. 100% vegan and cruelty free.

Mint oil can promote hair growth by stimulating the hair follicle and boosting blood flow to the scalp. It also has anti-microbial properties which assist to keep the scalp healthy, fight against fungi and inflammation (yes, you really truly ought to resist sleeping with damp or wet hair folks!).

The cooling sensation from the menthol in mint oil can provide a soothing, fresh feel and possibly help ease itchy scalp.

CARLOS at NYC CURLS' DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Wet hair and then massage a fair amount of cleanser directly onto scalp. Slowly work it through your curls and then rinse. Follow this by using The Curl Conditioner.

DONNA'S TIPS:
A no-lather cleanser can be a GREAT way to start your journey towards healthier curls. Often times, lathering shampoos can be too harsh for curls that have a soft or delicate fibre. This can be exacerbated when the cuticle has been compromised through heat damage from direct heat straightening, or chemical damage from colour or foils. I recommend most of my clients whose hair is described above, learn to use a non-lathering cleanser in order to give their delicate hair fibre a wee break. If a lathering shampoo is still required after a time, it can then be re-introduced as much or as little as required.
