Spiralicious Styling Gel provides all day hold and frizz control for medium & thick waves, curls and coils. Spiralicious is Jessicurl's stronger hold gel for medium to high density, strong curls and coils through to strong wavy-wavies.
It provides long lasting hold and definition and is glycerin and protein free.
No stiff, unbreakable, unshakeable curls here! One of the best parts about this gel is the frizz control.
If you want curl enhancement and currently use Rockin’ Ringlets Styling Potion, you’ll find that the two work really well together.
If you’re not looking for curl enhancement, Spiralicious will provide you with fabulous hold, frizz control and definition that will remain several days after a wash day.
JESSICURL'S DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Apply evenly to soaking wet hair and scrunch to encourage curls or finger-comb to elongate. Air-dry or dry with a diffuser. Use with Jessicurl Gelebration Spray or Rockin’ Ringlets if extra curl enhancement is desired. If you just want hold and definition, use by itself. Once fully dry, any crunch that occurs is easily scrunched out to reveal touchably soft curls that will last all day.

Why the Fragrance-Free version? I chose to stock this version of the Spiralicious Styling Gel to give curlies who prefer no fragrance in their product more options!
Spiralicious Styling Gel is a strong hold gel. If you want to increase the longevity of the hold, you can pair this with another strong gel...but be aware that the cast is likely to be more difficult to break! If you wish to diminish the cast effect from Spiralicious, experiment with how much you use, and on how wet or less wet your hair is when you apply it. The wetter it is, the clumpier you will make it, but the hold will be ever so slightly decreased. Delicate, lower density, fine hair strand curlies and wavies might find this gel a little too 'grippy' for their hair, but it could be worth trying with more water.
This gel does contain a drying alcohol. If you are following The Curly Girl Method as written by Lorraine Massey (author of 'Curly Girl: The Handbook'), the method does not incorporate drying alcohols. Please see the footnote about Jessicurl's inclusion of this ingredient.
INGREDIENTS:
Aqua (Water), Polyquaternium-69, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, C12-15 Alkyl Benzoate, Panthenol, Polyquaternium-11, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Alcohol**
(**You’ll note the ingredients list does contain a drying alcohol. Ethanol, to be exact. Spiralicious contains about 7/10ths of 1% ethanol. It’s a necessary part in making Polyquaternium 69, one of the ingredients used in this gel. However, the amount of ethanol is so low in this gel that it doesn’t have any negative effects. In fact, the lower on the list an ingredient is, the smaller the amount of it in the formula. It’s been such an iconic gel for so many years though, and it's popularity is practically legendary in the world of curly hair products, so we would be surprised if it's not a gel you would also enjoy!
